Roads Close As Outdoor Dining Tents Return To Hale Street
The Hale Street tents, which gained popularity at the start of the pandemic, will return for the 2023 season in early May.

WHEATON, IL — The Innovator Hale Street Tents are set to reopen in early May, bringing outdoor dining and live music to downtown Wheaton once again. The tents will lead to road closures starting May 1.
As of May 1, Hale Street will be closed from Front Street to Wesley Street to allow crews to set up the tents. Diners can enjoy the outdoor tents through the start of October.
While the Innovator Hale Street Tents are up, scooters, bikes, roller skates and skateboards will not be permitted in the dining space, a news release said.
