Scholarships Available For Students In Need In DuPage County

DuPage County is accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship program for students with a household income below the poverty level.

WHEATON, IL — DuPage County has opened applications for its 2025 Community Services Block Grant Scholarships. The awards are given to outstanding students whose households are below or meeting 200 percent of the designated federal poverty level.

To apply, students need to provide the following:

  • 500-word original statement/personal essay
  • Official transcripts from their school
  • Financial Aid audit
  • Proof of being enrolled in a school accredited by the State of Illinois

Scholarships start at $500 and will range in amount depending on financial need, according to a news release from DuPage County. The deadline to apply is May 2.
