WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police responded to reports of retail theft, a stolen package and identity theft during the first two weeks of October, according to the police department's most recent crime blotter.

Retail Theft at Burlington

On Oct. 5, police were called to the Burlington store at 138 Danada Square West for a report of a retail theft. According to the blotter, two men came into the store around 9:50 p.m. and put merchandise in duffel bags. They then left the store without paying.

Identity Theft

A resident who lives in the 900 block of Lynford Lane told police someone used their personal information to lease an apartment.

Bike Stolen from School

A bike was stolen from Monroe Middle School on the morning of Oct. 9. According to police, a man stole the bike just before 11 a.m.

Package Stolen from Building

Police say someone stole a package that had been delivered to the 1500 block of County Farm Road. The package was in the building's foyer when it was stolen.
