Shots Fired Incident Under Investigation In West Chicago

Police had been called to the 200 block of West Pomeroy Street Saturday night for a report of shots fired.

WEST CHICAGO, IL — West Chicago police are investigating a report of shots fired that brought a heavy police presence Saturday night.

Officers had been called to the 200 block of West Pomeroy Street just before 10 p.m. Saturday for a report that shots had been fired. There had still been a heavy police presence in the area as of 12 a.m. Sunday.

Robyn Arms, a West Chicago Police Department spokesperson, told Patch Monday that officers confirmed shots had been fired. No property was damaged, and no injuries had been reported, she said.
