Sweet Reserve Bakery Café & Bakery Now Open In Winfield

WINFIELD, IL — Sweet Reserve Café & Bakery is now open in Winfield at 27w449 High Lake Rd. The store hosted its grand opening March 15, bring a line of eager customers that wrapped around the building.

The café and bakery offers an extensive menu with a strong Mediterranean and southeast Asian influence.

There are inventively flavored teas and lemonades, such as mango dragonfruit lemonade and pomegranate hibiscus lemonade. Moroccan mint tea, Kashmiri chai and strawberry matcha latte are just some of the tea selections.

The café's sandwiches and breads run the gamut from Philly grilled cheese and Greek chicken croissant to housemade Turkish bread cradling chicken tikka or spinach and feta.

Customers can purchase premade cakes in an array of flavors, including cookie butter, cookies and cream and the bakery's signature chocolate cake. Gulab jamun cheesecake and a ras malai tres leches cake give a nod to popular desserts from the Indian subcontinent.

Custom orders are available for cakes, wedding cakes, sweets tables for events. Sweet Reserve Café & Bakery also offers pre-designed cupcakes and cakes, decked out with accents like flowers, edible gold flakes, macarons and donuts.

The Winfield Sweet Reserve & Café is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
