Train V. Pedestrian Incident Closes Road In Wheaton: Police
Police said College Avenue is closed Tuesday afternoon.
WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are advising motorists to find alternate routes after "an incident involving a train and a pedestrian" just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
College Avenue is closed between Wilmette and Hill Avenue, police said.
The incident happened hours after a pedestrian was struck by a freight train in Glen Ellyn.
