WHEATON, IL — Without community leaders, Wheaton wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss all miss the contributions of these leaders in ways both big and small.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.

She is the Regional Director of Replanted(A Foster Parent/Adopted Support Group)

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

Sarah has taken to heart the mission of the organization to help foster and adopted families heal, connect and thrive. She and her husband and Scott have adopted four children and are in the process of adopting two more children in addition to their two birth children. The amount of love and connection has multiplied as their family has grown and invites more friends and families into their lives and home for connection and growth. It is a house of hope, love and continual growth of all kinds.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

Sarah has in incredible gift of hospitality, friendship, hope and positivity.
