Wheaton Graphic Artist Made Fake Ad of NRA Activist Getting Shot in Head

The NRA activist retweeted the video showing her shooting herself in the head.

A graphic artist from Wheaton made a fake advertisement of an NRA activist getting shot and shared the ad on Twitter.

Tom Adelsbach, 51, doctored a recent ad for the National Rifle Association featuring St. Louis-based conservative talk radio host Dana Loesch, according to the Huffington Post. Adelsbach’s version makes it appear Loesch is shooting herself in the head.

He later removed the video from his Twitter feed.

Twitter says the page no longer exists but Fox News broadcast the video and it remains on the network’s website. Loesch told Fox she contacted the FBI. She has Adelsbach’s Twitter account blocked and that he’s harassed her in the past.

Adelsbach did not immediately respond to a Patch request for comment.

In 2006, Adelsbach pleaded guilty to theft by deception and was sentenced to probation, according to Will County court records. He was charged with putting 52 counterfeit $10 bills into a change machine at a Crest Hill car wash.
