WHEATON, IL — Wheaton-area residents will have access to a new coworking space in the Sandberg building in 2023, according to Daily Herald.

The Wheaton City Council unanimously approved a permit to permit Brick & Mortar to develop the building's first floor into an office space, complete with high-speed Internet access, coffee, snacks and more. In addition to adding the coworking space, Brick & Mortar plans to revamp both floors of the building, replace its windows and remove its recognizable cedar shake awning.

Brick & Mortar currently operates a coworking space in Park Ridge that offers similar amenities to those that the Sandberg building's coworking space will offer. In Park Ridge, visitors can purchase day passes for $25 or an unlimited recurring membership for $250.
