Missing 67-Year-Old Woman Found Safe: West Chicago Police

Police said she did not come home after an errand Sunday morning, but later said she was found safe.

WEST CHICAGO, IL — Police said a 67-year-old West Chicago woman who was reported missing Sunday has been found safe.

Police previously said the woman was seen near Route 59 and Joliet Street around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, but didn't come home when she was expected to return.

At just after 9 p.m. Monday, police published an update, noting, "We are very happy to announce that our missing person has been located, safe and sound ... Thank you to everyone who shared, reposted, talked about and looked for our subject. Your help is greatly appreciated."
