The Christmas Oratorio of Saint Saens' is a beautiful musical portrayal of the Christmas nativity. The musical style is light and lyrical, as well as urgent and celebratory. Crossing musical periods, the Oratorio eludes to composers such as Bach, Handel, and Mozart.
