Loyola Academy Lacrosse Star Coaches, Inspires Younger Players

WILMETTE, IL — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know the individual stories behind the leaderboard.

The first local athlete being recognized by Wilmette-Kenilworth Patch is Loyola Academy senior Jameson, a four-year varsity lacrosse player and All-State selection last season who has committed to Bates College next year.

"Jameson provides excellent energy and leadership for our team. He has improved every year," Loyola Academy Head Coach Rob Snyder said earlier this year following a letter of intent signing ceremony. "Last season Jameson played his best lacrosse. Very hard working and had the pleasure of watching him grow up from youth lacrosse to high school."

He has been part of a Loyola Academy team that has won two state championships (and will be competing for a 3rd this Spring), will be playing in college, has been on Honor Roll every semester of high school and pays it forward by coaching younger players lacrosse a couple of days per week

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?
He has demonstrated that hard work can lead to academic/athletic opportunities at the next level, but more importantly he shares those learnings with the young kids he coaches and inspires
