9 Winnetka, Glencoe Runners To Compete in 2023 Boston Marathon

The local runners are among the tens of thousands of competitors who will toe the starting line in the annual Patriot Day marathon.

WINNETKA, IL — Nine Winnetka and Glencoe runners are among the scores of road racing enthusiasts that will take part in the 2023 Boston Marathon on Monday.

You can see the list of area residents running below. Winnetka’s Dan Funk is among the three local runners who will compete in Monday’s 26.2 Patriot Day run and who participated in the 2022 Boston Marathon in October. Funk finished the course in 3:05.26.
