Bleeding Man Found In Wrong Apartment Building

Bleeding Man
On Oct. 28, a caller from the 1700 block of Northfield Square called at 2:00 a.m. to report a possibly intoxicated, bleeding man, holding a bicycle helmet, was banging on doors and walls in hallways of the apartment building on the block, according to police.Â
Responding officers found the man, a Northfield resident who didn't know the source of his injuries, according to the report. It turned out the man lived in a different building, police say. He was transported to Glenbrook hospital and no charges were filed, according to police.Â
Stolen Car Recovered
On Oct. 22, a resident on the 300 block of Latrobe Avenue reported a white minivan had been parked in front of an abandoned house for a couple weeks, according to police. Officers investigating the vehicle found the plates belonged to a car stolen out of Chicago, while the car itself was previously stolen out of Glenview, police say.Â
Medicine Disposal Drive
A medicine disposal drive was held at police department across the country this weekend. In Northfield, 22 people brought medications for safe disposal.
