Draft for Stormwater Master Plan Presented to Winnetka Trustees

An early draft of the proposal did not include a possible cost.

An early draft of the Winnetka Stormwater Master Plan was presented to Winnetka trustees at a meeting on July 9, according to Winnetka Talk. The plan proved that water samples from the community have elevated levels of fecal coliform, nutrients, dissolved solids and suspended solids, which is typical for urban stormwater runoff.

"I wouldn't say this is cause for alarm," Mark Phipps, of Baxter and Woodman, who presented the draft is quoted as saying in the meeting by Winnetka Talk. The plan did not include a possible cost.
