It's officially Monday. To ease you into this week, Patch has put together this list of things going on in Winnetka and Glencoe. For a full list of things going on, be sure to check out our calendar of events.
1) Know: Winnetka has passed new regulations involving assault weapons — they must be disassembled when being transported, or else there's a possible $1000 fine. Read the full story here.
2) Eat: Dewey's is officially open in Glencoe. We hear that their French fries — including Buffalo and Greek flavored — are the tops. Pair it with Homer's ice cream that's sold there and it's the perfect summer meal. Let Patch know what you get!
3) Do: The American Jewish Artists Club will be holding their 84th Annual Award Show on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Winnetka Community House. Come see some great art, snack on refreshments and meet talented artists from all over. More details can be found here.
4) Plan Ahead: New to town, or enrolling a kindergartner in Winnetka schools? Registration is now open. Find more information here.Â
