Back To School: Woodridge School District 68 Calendar For 2023-24

WOODRIDGE, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Woodridge School District 68 with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2023-2024 school year.

The first day of school for District 68 students is set for Aug. 16. Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. We also suggest that you check the District 68 calendar and your child’s individual school calendar regarding conferences, open houses, meetings, exams, early dismissals, athletic and other school events.

Below is the list of dates to know for the 2023-24 school year:

Aug. 15: Open House from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Aug. 16: First Day of School (half-day for students)

Sept. 1: School Improvement Day, no classes

Sept. 4: Labor Day, no school

Oct. 9: Indigenous Peoples' Day, no school

Oct. 31: School Improvement Day, no classes

Nov. 20: Parent-Teacher Conferences from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., no school

Nov. 21: Parent-Teacher Conferences from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., no school

Nov. 22 - Nov. 24: Thanksgiving Break, no school

Dec. 25 - Jan. 8: Winter Break, no school

Jan. 15: Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, no school

Feb. 19: Presidents' Day, no school

March 1: Institute Day, no school

March 25 - March 29: Spring Break, no school

April 1: Spring Holiday, no school

May 3: School Improvement Day, no school

May 22: Last Day of School*
