Body Found in Retention Pond Identified as Woodridge Man
The body was recovered Dec. 3.

WOODRIDGE, IL — The DuPage County Coroner’s Office has identified a body found Dec. 3 in a retention pond near 75th Street and Woodward Avenue in Woodridge as Ruslan Tiniakov, 43, of Woodridge.
Tiniakov was pronounced dead at the scene, said a DuPage County spokesperson.
The coroner’s office is still waiting for toxicology and pathology results. There is no indication of foul play or suspicious circumstances at this point, the spokesperson said.

Police were called to the retention pond around 2 p.m. Dec. 3 for reports of a body in the water, according to Woodridge police. The body was removed from the pond at 4:25 p.m. by the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System Dive Team.
