Carlos Ocampo Named 2025 Employee of the Year
Aquatic Maintenance Supervisor Recognized for Commitment to Safety and Excellence

The Woodridge Park District is proud to announce that Carlos Ocampo has been selected as the 2025 Employee of the Year as part of the Village of Woodridge’s Community Recognition Program.
For 25 years, Carlos has been a cornerstone of dedication, expertise, and kindness the District. Starting in the Parks Maintenance Department and later stepping into the role of Aquatic Maintenance Supervisor at Cypress Cove Family Aquatic Park, Carlos embraced every challenge with professionalism and heart.
His commitment to safety and excellence is unmatched. Maintaining high-quality, safe water is a complex task requiring precision and care – and Carlos has mastered it. Season after season, he goes above and beyond, often sacrificing personal time to ensure our guests and staff enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. His calm, knowledgeable presence during emergencies has earned him the admiration of the entire team.
