WOODRIDGE, IL — The school board for Woodridge School District 68 was recently one of 45 schools recognized by the Illinois Association of School Boards for good governance.

The distinction is given to school boards that take initiatives toward ongoing development and improvement, per a news release.

"The school district and school board are honored to be recognized by the IASB with the prestigious Board Governance Award," District 68 School Board President Stuart Vanorny said in a statement. "This award is a testament to each board member's commitment to excellence in public education and their dedication to serving the students and community of Woodridge."
