Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club to Host Mother and Son Gym Jam

Downers Grove, IL - The Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club and The Downers Grove Park District, in partnership with SEASPAR, will host a Mother & Son Gym Jam on Jan. 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Downers Grove Park District Recreation Center.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the charities of The Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club and SEASPAR.

Participants are encouraged to dress in casual attire to celebrate a fun filled evening with your special guy or guys. Mothers, or another significant woman in your child’s life, and sons from the ages of 4-12 will twist and shout the night away as Coach Josh of All-Star Sports plays some of today’s hits along with the “classics” for the moms.

Light refreshments will be served. Other activities will include a Mother and Son Free Throw Contest as well as Tug of War: Moms vs. Kids.

The price is $25 per couple for residents and $37 for non-residents. Additional participants are $12.50 and $18.50 for residents and non-residents respectively. Each couple will receive a free photo to capture the special night.

Registration is available online through The Downers Grove Park District. Spots fill up fast, so don’t delay!
