Goodrich School Playground Donated to Kids Around the World; New Playground Coming Soon
Woodridge Park District staff and Kids Around the World volunteers removed the playground equipment on August 5 to prepare for new equipment
On August 5, the Woodridge Park District partnered with the non-profit organization Kids Around the World to remove the playground equipment at Goodrich School. With the help of volunteers, the equipment will be refurbished and shipped to a community where children have little or no access to play spaces. In its place, a brand-new playground will be installed, with completion expected by the end of September. Click to view photos/videos from the playground demolition.
