Music has played a major part of Richard's life since second grade when he started piano lessons - which he hated. In 1968, his dad purchased a Thomas spinet organ and from then on, he has been an organist. He played professionally from 1970 - 1985.

Today, he owns two vintage Hammond Organs – a 1955 Hammond C3 used by jazz organist Jimmy Smith to record his albums on; a rather rare Hammond X66; a Yamaha Keyboard; a Hammond mSolo Keyboard (a Hammond B3 in an 8 pound package); and a Ringway A2000 Maestro Orchestral Organ purchased from Allens Music Centre in Greater Yarmouth, UK. The audio track in the video was recorded on the Ringway A2000 Maestro Orchestral Organ

He loves practicing new pieces, as well as the old standards, then recording the audio in his home studio in order to make original music videos to share. Setting up the recording studio also fulfills the "sound engineer" gene he somehow inherited - and used throughout various aspects of his life.
Richard told me .... "It's all fun and for the love of music which, hopefully, makes people smile".
