Resurfacing Project To Impact Traffic With Detours In Woodridge
The Woodridge Drive Road Project is set to impact area traffic starting June 19.
WOODRIDGE, IL — The Woodridge Drive Road Project will start on June 19, causing lane closures and detours that will impact area traffic.
Woodridge Drive will be limited to a single lane of traffic going south from Hobson to Janeswood Drive. Drivers heading north on Woodridge Drive will be detoured to 75th Street, Route 53 and Hobson.
The project marks the first time in 14 years that this section Woodridge Drive will be resurfaced. "[O]ngoing surface failures have prompted "extensive" patching on the road for at least a decade, per a village update. The update cited "significant base issues" that indicate further patching would not be cost-effective.
