WOODRIDGE, IL — A serious crash injured a motorcycle rider and closed part of I-355 near Woodridge Tuesday morning. The crash took place around 8:45 a.m. on northbound I-355 near milepost 15, close to 75th Street, according to Illinois State Police (ISP). Preliminary investigations indicate the motorcyle hit the back of a semi. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a nearby hospital, ISP told Patch.
