A Special Show at Shanahan’s this Saturday November 15th to honor our Veterans

The fun begins at 7:00 pm with a special rendition of "America The Beautiful". We will remind the crowd they are in the presence of true American Heroes. The bravest men and women in the world.

We will recognize three Veteran guests of honor:

Arthur Doody: Is 93 years old and served in the Army as a Sergeant First Class E7. He served in the Korean War and in peace time with the National Guard and Army Reserve.

Tony Siebert: Is 98 years old and served during WW II in the Army in the Pacific.

Jerry Rich: Is 101 years old and served in the Army Air Force from 1943-1947. He was one of the first men in Japan after the Atomic bomb was dropped.

We are planning to introduce each veteran individually throughout the night to the crowd and read their bio.

It is our attempt to make the Veterans feel really special and appreciated. And with your help, it’s going to happen! We also have some songs that might never have been performed at Shanahan’s. At some point in the evening we will be sure to recognize all veterans and a special song geared for Vietnam Veterans. On the fun side we are even going to recognize the Revolutionist!

Let your mind drift back to the good old days. You're cruising in your car with the windows down, the radio up and your favorite girl (or guy!) by your side hoping to hear your favorite song. You might head to the local burger drive-in or perhaps just park under the moon-lit sky as the tunes played.

Memories.....that's what Baby Boomer Rock n' Roll is all about! We play a variety of songs from The Animals to The Yardbirds and we believe we have a little something for everyone.
