Boy, 17, Charged In Smash & Grab Business Burglaries
The teen was also charged with criminal property damage and possession of a stolen vehicle.
YORKVILLE, IL — A 17-year-old faces multiple charges in connection to five business burglaries that happened in the overnight hours of June 25. The crimes left business windows smashed and items were stolen including cash registers, cellphones and tablets.
The incidents happened in the 500 block of East Veterans Parkway, 1400 block of Cannonball Trail and 1200 block of North Bridge Street. Police said someone used a landscape brick to smash glass windows and doors in the early morning hours of June 25.
A warrant for the teen's arrest was issued July 18, according to Yorkville police.

He is charged with four counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, five counts of criminal damage to property and one count of possession of a stolen vehicle.
