• FBI May Step In To Help Find Missing Yorkville Teens: YPD (patch.com) — Yorkville police are still searching for two teenage girls who left a local group home on Dec. 13 and were last confirmed in Yorkville before social media activity suggested they went to Chicago. Both teens have conditions that place them in danger, and Illinois State Police issued endangered missing person alerts. Anyone with information is urged to contact Yorkville police immediately. 
• 3 suspects in Kane County shooting taken into custody in Yorkville (shawlocal.com) — Three suspects in a Kane County shooting were captured near key Yorkville intersections Tuesday after a police chase that involved Kendall, Kane, and Yorkville officers. Yorkville police used Stop Sticks on Route 34, and the pursuit ended near Route 47 and Landmark Avenue. Authorities say there is no ongoing threat and all roads have reopened.
