YORKVILLE, IL — A Bristol woman was airlifted to a local trauma center and a 9-year-old was taken to a local hospital after a Wednesday afternoon crash in the 2000 block of Bristol Ridge Road, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said. According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to the scene for a report of a single-vehicle accident at 12:35 p.m., closing down Bristol Ridge Road for a short period. An investigation revealed 37-year-old Kate Paolinelli, of the 2000 block of Cannonball Trail, was driving northbound on Bristol Ridge Road, when her vehicle left the roadway, rolled over and hit a utility pole, the sheriff's office said.
Both Paolinelli and the child passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries
According to the sheriff's office, Ms Paolinelli was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
