What does Rivers Edge Theatre offer?

We are a boutique theatre located near the banks of the Fox River in the quaint, original downtown part of Yorkville. Our theater is nestled between our community’s historic brick buildings, giving it a nostalgic feel and is only steps away from the area’s best restaurants. Once inside the theatre, you’ll be pleased to find a newly remodeled space with a warm atmosphere and the latest in stage sound and lighting. We provide family friendly entertainment of the highest quality that can range from our own local creative souls to nationally recognized names in music, theater, comedy and beyond.

What do people not know about Rivers Edge Theatre? We draw not only local talent but also nationally known acts from around the country. We try to keep all of our shows family-friendly, so that everyone feels welcome, no matter what age they are. We're connected to a full service restaurant, Cobblestone Bakery and Bistro that is one of the area's most popular spots for food and beverage.

Is there anything you would like to tell Patch readers? We're one of the most unique theatres from here to Chicago and we work hard to provide shows appropriate for all ages and backgrounds that our community can be proud of.
