Hairbrush Sparks Fight Between Wife, Ex-Wife: Yorkville PD
The wife attempted to reach into the ex-wife's open trunk to retrieve a hairbrush and a fight ensued, police said.
YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville police responded to a report of a fight in progress Tuesday in the 2900 block of Grande Trail after a wife and an ex-wife got into a dispute, according to police. Officers responded at around 5:30 p.m. after the two women reported got into an argument in the driveway.
Police said the wife reached into the open trunk of the ex-wife's car to try to grab a hairbrush without permission. The ex-wife attempted to close the trunk, hitting the wife in the head with the lid and prompting the wife to push her, according to a police report.
No injuries were reported, and no one was arrested or cited.
