Hydraulic Street to Completely Close by this Weekend
Decision comes after traffic issues and backups due to attempting to turn left from 47 onto East Hydraulic.
Looks like travelers on Route 47 just hit another bump in the road.
Due to traffic issues with backups from people attempting to turn left onto Hydraulic Street from Route 47 despite the no left turn signs, Hydraulic Street will now be closed, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
"In an effort to ensure vehicle and motorist safety, the local authorities have requested that Hydraulic St. will be totally closed at IL 47 ( both east and west sides)," said IDOT.

Hydraulic will be closed by this weekend and will remain closed until such time that it can be safely reopened, said IDOT.
The United City of Yorkville is alerting motorists that are attempting to access Hydraulic and the businesses and park along it to use East Van Emmon over to Mill or Heustis.
