FBI May Step In To Help Find Teens Missing From Yorkville: YPD (patch.com) β Yorkville police are still searching for two endangered teenage girls who left a local group home on Dec. 13 and were last seen at Bridge and Park streets before heading toward Route 47. Investigators say the teens later indicated on social media they were in Chicago, and Yorkville officers have worked with Chicago police and consulted the FBI for possible assistance. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Yorkville Police Department.

County board chairman looks ahead to facility upgrades in 2026 and beyond (wspynews.com) β Kendall Countyβs renovation of its Yorkville government office building is expected to wrap up in early 2026, with more local facility upgrades already planned. County Board Chairman Matt Kellogg outlines likely expansions for the courthouse, animal control, sheriff and coroner offices, a new Kendall Area Transit building near Route 47 and Galena, and a future facilities department building.
