Man Caught Mid-Burglary At Yorkville Business: Police
Police found an unsecured door, an air conditioner partially pulled from a window, and a man trying to steal medication, authorities said.
YORKVILLE, IL — Police caught a man in the middle of a burglary overnight in Yorkville, authorities said.
Officers responded around 12:30 a.m. Monday to an alarm at a closed business in the 600 block of Center Parkway, according to police, who found an unsecured door, an air conditioner partially pulled from a window, and Connor P. Naughton trying to steal prescription medication in the building.
Naughton, 27, of the 300 block of East Kendall Drive in Yorkville, was taken into custody and brought to the Kendall County jail on charges of Class 2 felony burglary, police said.
