New Services and Hours Coming to the Yorkville Public Library

The Yorkville Public Library has a few big announcements.

Starting on Tuesday, September 7 the Library will be opening an hour earlier Monday-Saturday. The new hours will be Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 7:00, Friday 9:00 – 5:00, and Saturday 9:00 – 4:00. The Library has recently upgraded their Wi-Fi to a 1gig fiber service to provide quicker upload and download speeds to the community. Keep an eye out around town for the Yorkville Public Library’s new Pop-Up Library. Their first stop will be at the Yorkville Hometown Days Festival, where they will be bringing their services and resources out to the community. You will be able to sign up for a library card, checkout materials on the spot, receive help in downloading eBooks and audiobooks to your devices, listen to a story read by staff, and learn more about what the library has to offer. The YPL Pop-Up Library will be featured around town, at festivals, events, neighborhoods, and parks. If you would like the YPL Pop-Up Library to visit your event, please contact them at (630) 553-4354.
