Pig Roast Being Held to Support President of Yorkville Police Academy Alumni

John Angelo has been very involved throughout many organizations in Yorkville and Kendall County and his friends and family are looking to give back to him what he has given to so many others.

John Angelo is the president of the Yorkville Police Academy Alumni.

He's a loving husband and a father of four.

He volunteers throughout Kendall County at the food pantry, neighborhood watch, Polar Plunge and more.

He's also been diagnosed with stage four cancer.

His friends and family are hosting a pig roast benefit to help raise money to cover Angelo's growing medical costs.

The pig roast will be on Sunday, June 30 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Kendall County Food Pantry, 208 Beaver Street, Yorkville.

Tickets for the event are $10 and the options are: a pig meal which includes sides, a drink and dessert or a hotdog meal which has sides, a drink, dessert and one raffle ticket.

There will be multiple raffles throughout the event and anyone interested can contact Amber Rasmusson for tickets at 630-747-3877 or pick up tickets at the Yorkville Police Department during the week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you can't make it to the roast but would like to help, visit John's crosspointe page here to donate.
