Semi Rolls Away From Elderly Driver, Hits 2nd Semi: Yorkville PD

The incident took place at a local Shell Gas Station, police said.

YORKVILLE, IL — The Yorkville Police Department was called to a private property crash at 11:40 p.m. Thursday involving two semis at the Shell Gas Station on South Bridge Street. Police said that's where 70-year-old Samatar Yahye Isse, of Laveen, Arizona, stopped to put fuel in a 2012 semi freightliner. According to officers, that's when the truck rolled away from the elderly man and ran into a 2006 Semi Volvo driven by 53-year-old Abdulmageed Ali-Fiotaini Al-Ahmadi, of Detroit, Michigan.

There were no injuries reported, according to police, and what led to the truck rolling away hasn't been specified.
