Yorkville police took a report for a hit and run that occurred at 5:20 p.m. at Route 71 and Route 47. An unknown vehicle struck the victim’s vehicle while both were turning right onto Route 47. One vehicle left the scene prior to police arrival.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Yorkville police took a report for a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred overnight in the 200 block of West Hydraulic. An unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle and stole an expired credit card, an Illinois FOID card and a GPS valued at $120.

Recovered property

Yorkville police took a report of a recovered stolen cell phone valued at $200.

Monday, Dec. 30

Retail theft

Chelsea N. Nally, 20, of the 400 block of East Barberry Circle, Yorkville; and a female juvenile were cited with retail theft that occurred at 5:27 p.m. in the 900 block of Erica Lane. The two took items valued at $95 from the store without paying for them.
