Two New Patrol Deputies For Kendall County Sheriff's Office

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office hired two new sheriff's deputies, the sheriff's office announced Friday.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff's Office announced Friday they've hired two new deputies to fill vacancies in the patrol division. According to a news release from the sheriff's office, Tristan Borzick and Justin Donahue were sworn in on Thursday by Sheriff Dwight Baird.

According to the sheriff's office, Deputy Borzick studied at Illinois State University and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He worked as a police officer at the North Chicago Police Department and the Morris Police Department before being hired by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Donahue studied at Western Illinois University, and worked as a police officer at the Northern Illinois University Police Department before being hired by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, according to the news release.

Deputy Borzick and Deputy Donahue will be paired with experienced field training officers for a rigorous 14-week field training program, the sheriff's office said.
