Yorkville Congregational Seeks Rummage Sale Donations

Yorkville Congregational United Church of Christ will host the sale in October.

YORKVILLE, IL — No longer needed, but still usable “treasures” can be donated to Yorkville Congregational United Church of Christ to be sold at the church’s Oct. 14 and 15 Rummage and Bake Sale.

Community members who would like to donate clean, usable items in good condition may drop them off at the church from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 10 and 11. A donation form will be available for tax purposes.

Items that will not be accepted for donation include extra-large furniture (i.e. ‘oversized’ sofas/sectionals, desks, entertainment centers), electronics, infant car and/or booster seats, any size of mattresses, and cribs. They reserve the right to decline an item that is too large.

Proceeds from the sale support church programs and charitable organizations that help provide for the needs of people in the Yorkville area and beyond.

The church is located at 409 Center Parkway in Yorkville, two blocks north of Route 34 and two blocks west of Route 47. Call the church at 630-553-7308 for additional information.
