- Police are investing the death of an adult man who was found inside an apartment on the north side. Officers were called to the scene at 7700 block of Solana Drive, east of N. Keystone Avenue and south of 78th Street, on Friday morning. The case has not been ruled a homicide at this time. (Fox 59)
- The 30th Annual Indianapolis Heart Walk and 5k Run is returning on Saturday, Sept. 25. The event will honor survivors of heart disease and stroke and celebrate the work of the American Heart Association. Gates will open at 8:30 a.m. at Victory Field. (Fox 59)
- A 2-year-old was shot while sleeping in bed at a west-side Indianapolis home and has been taken to Riley Hospital in stable condition. (WTHR)
