IMPD: Large presence at Castleton Square Mall is ‘precautionary' (wishtv.com) — Indianapolis police say there was no active shooter at Castleton Square Mall after false reports and running juveniles triggered a large precautionary response Saturday night. IMPD stresses there were no gunshots or injuries, but warns that social media misinformation and unsupervised teens can quickly create fear and divert officers from real emergencies. 
2. IFD Battalion Chief dies on his way to work (wrtv.com) — Indianapolis residents are mourning the sudden death of longtime Indianapolis Fire Department Battalion Chief Barry Riddle, who died while driving to work Saturday. The 62-year-old, a 39-year IFD veteran and Battalion 4 C Shift chief, was remembered by colleagues as a beloved leader, husband, father, and grandfather. Officials have not yet released his cause of death.

- Looking for a foster/potential adopter for this very SWEET girl - she was dumped over the weekend at the vet hospital I work at in Castleton and has been staying in my basement for now.
