Here are the top three stories in Indianapolis today:

  1. A jury convicted an Indianapolis man of murder in a 2020 domestic shooting that took place on the west side. After a two-day trial, Ladriel Chapman was found guilty of the June 2020 shooting death of 21-year-old Doneasha Galbreath in Indianapolis. Chapman is expected back in court on March 4 for a sentencing hearing in Marion County Criminal Court 20. (WTHR)
  2. Dozens of flights were canceled out of Indianapolis International, but there seems to be an end in sight. On Friday, 45 cancellations were tracked by FlightAware at the Indy airport due to the severe weather, out of 3,000 cancelations across the country. At the time of this writing, no flights have been marked as canceled for Saturday in Indianapolis, according to the tracking. (Yahoo)
  3. Indianapolis set a snowfall record on Thursday night. 7.3β€³ of snow was measured in the city on Thursday, breaking the previous record for the date of 6.5β€³ of snow on Feb. 3rd in 1982. Across the state of Indiana, many places saw over a foot of snowfall. (CBS 4 Indianapolis)
