Here are the top stories in Indianapolis today:

  1. An on-the-run Indianapolis man was arrested for robbing an armored truck on Nov. 16 in Kokomo. Edwin Sims was arrested Wednesday for armed robbery following a short police chase. Two other men were arrested in Indianapolis, Keith Martin and James Alexander III, both of Indianapolis, for aiding, inducing, or causing armed robbery. (WIBC - Indianapolis News & Politics)
  2. A man was arrested on Wednesday after a road rage shooting on Interstate 65 near Lafayette Road. Troopers responded to the location of the victim’s vehicle at around 10:30 p.m. and found evidence that at least one bullet was fired at the victim’s car, however no injuries were reported. Christian Williams, 29, was arrested at a residence on Talbott Street and preliminarily charged with criminal recklessness by shooting a firearm into a place where people are likely to gather.   3. A committee tasked with handling issues related to hiring, firing, and disciplining Indianapolis police officers will continue to take public comment on proposed changes to IMPD’s disciplinary process until early Jan. (Indianapolis Recorder)
