- A fire destroyed dozens of cars at a south side Indianapolis auto yard on Wednesday morning. Indianapolis Fire Department crews arrived to find about 40 cars ablaze at Insurance Auto Auctions located at 3202 S. Harding St. The auto yard is looking into the possibility that a lightning strike from thunderstorms overnight may have started the fire. (Fox 59)
- Three people were hit in an intersection by two vehicles after they collided outside IPS School 57. A 7-year-old girl, who was a student at the school, died at Riley Hospital for Children after being struck. Indianapolis Public Schools canceled Wednesday classes at George W. Julian School 57. - A victim is in critical condition after a shooting at the 8600 block of E. Michigan St. on the east side of Indianapolis on Wednesday morning. (CBS 4 Indianapolis)
