Here are the top stories in Indianapolis today:

  1. A bicyclist was killed in a southwest side hit-and-run late Saturday night. Dustin Craig, 43, was riding a bike in the 2500 block of South Harding Street, between West Raymond Street and the White River, when he was killed by a car that fled the scene. The incident is currently under investigation by Indianapolis police. (WTHR)
  2. A nearly nude man’s body was found near the White River and the IUPUI campus Sunday morning. A mother was searching for her homeless son when she found the victim's remains. A witness said the body was visible in the brush along the roadway and may have been bound. Police are currently investigating. (CBS4Indy.com)
  3. The Black Lives Matter mural on Indiana Avenue on the near northwest side will soon be covered over when the street is repaved as part of the planned expansion of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. On Saturday, a section of the street was closed to traffic to allow people to honor the mural, which was created in August 2020. (WTHR)
  4. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced plans to add an infield building that is aimed at increasing the use of its track area throughout the year for non-race events. The new structure will be leased by BMW as part of a multi-year agreement. (Indiana Public Media)
