Here are the top three stories today in Indianapolis:

  1. After nearly 50 years of service, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Detective Robert Flack has retired. Joining the department in 1973, Flack previously worked in patrol, under cover, field training, robbery, and homicide. He attributes his fascination with law enforcement to seeing his father, with whom he worked alongside, in uniform at the police academy. (WTHR)
  2. An Indianapolis man was arrested in connection with a road rage shooting that took place on I-465 near Crawfordsville. At around 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 3, troopers met with the victim and discovered what appeared to be a bullet hole in the side of the truck. After Indiana State Police investigated, they found and arrested 27-year-old Aaron Mosley on preliminary charges of criminal recklessness, felon in possession of a firearm, and pointing a firearm. 3. The upcoming 2022 Indy RV Expo at the Indiana State Fairgrounds will show off the area’s most renowned RV dealers. The expo takes place from Jan. 8-16, and will feature hundreds of new model motor homes, fifth wheels, tent campers, travel trailers, and toy haulers from 60 of the top name brand manufacturers. Special show rates, on-the-spot financing, and factory incentives will be offered at the event. (Fox 59)
