- A child was killed Friday morning while waiting for a school bus on Indyβs east side in what police are describing as a hit-and-run incident. Police say 6-year-old Sevion Sanford was waiting for the bus at Warren Harbor Apartments, when for some unknown reason, Sanford ran across the street. He was struck by two vehicles; the first left the scene while the other driver stayed and cooperated with investigators. IMPD is still investigating the scene and asking drivers to pay attention and slow down, especially as daylight savings time may have children waiting at bus stops in the dark. (FOX 59 Indianapolis)
