- An 18-year-old accused of shooting another teen at a Ben Davis High School football game Friday night told police he shot the boy "on accident" after firing warning shots at him. David Tillman said he was acting in self-defense when he shot the 16-year-old boy in the right elbow outside Ben Davis' homecoming football game against Carmel, the records indicate. He said he "was firing warning shots at (the teen) in self-defense" after a disturbance near the field. (IndyStar)
- A man has been sentenced to prison for a string of arsons over a number of years in Indianapolis. David Bradshaw will serve 32 years in the Indiana Department of Correction as part of a 40-year total sentence. Bradshaw was sentenced Friday; he pleaded guilty to seven counts of arson that authorities said stretched back to 2014. (Indiana Lawyer)
- Indicating Indianapolis has an excess of guns and a deficit of hope, Mayor Joe Hogsett announced $440,000 in community anti-violence grants Monday morning, a $140,000 increase over this yearβs funding. (Fox 59)
- A woman has dropped a lawsuit against Indianapolis hospital, Ascension St. Vincent, which refused to treat her mother's COVID with ivermectin. (WTHR)
- Indy Parks announced Monday that masks are required inside all facilities and family centers, regardless of vaccination status, effective immediately. (WTHR)
