Here are the top three stories today in Indianapolis:
- Indianapolis Animal Care Services will be hosting a rapid hire event on Thursday. Interested candidates should bring their resumes to the shelter located at 2600 S. Harding Street for an on-site interview. Job offers to prospective employees may be offered by the following day, and new hires will be able to work by Jan. 12. (Fox 59)
- One person is in critical condition after a Monday afternoon shooting on Indy's east side. The shooting occurred at 1635 Fogelson Drive near 21st and German Church Road at around 2:30 p.m. The victim was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital with serious injuries, and no information has been released about the suspect. - There have been more cancellations and delays at the Indianapolis International Airport. As of Monday, another 44 flights were canceled and 48 flights were listed as delayed. Nationwide, almost 3,000 flights have been canceled. (WISHTV.com)
